I'm a big fan of the cello as an instrument and have always dreamed of being able to play one.
If you're into classical music and would like to hear some contemporary tunes then Maya Beiser is definately one you should give a shot.
I ran into this outstanding performance of hers and the 20 minutes I spent listening to her were definately worthed. Here's the video, courtesy of TED Talks :)
